Food Missing From Aldi

I’m a big fan of Aldi.  They have German speciality foods you can’t find elsewhere, along with Trader Joe’s leftovers and quite a few staples.  Mostly good quality stuff at really low prices.

If I could purchase all my food at Aldi, I would, but they’re missing a few essentials:
  • Plain Yogurt: Sure, they have the non-fat variety, but nobody wants that.  Please, how about low-fat or better yet, whole milk yogurt?
  • Unsweetened Applesauce: All of Aldi’s applesauce has extra sugar.  Apples are naturally sweet and don’t need anything extra.
  • Whole Wheat Potato Bread: OK, this isn’t quite an essential, but I sure wish Aldi would carry Martin’s Whole Wheat Potato Bread on a regular basis.  This stuff is great: It stays fresh about a week longer than regular whole wheat bread, and still manages to be good for you.
  • Amy’s Organic Soup: Or any kind of organic soup without MSG.  Really, is this that hard to stock?  At least put some of the Trader Joe’s soups under an Aldi label.
Are there any foods you wish Aldi would carry?  Post in the comments.
